Donnie Ewens

Nidan

(2nd degree black belt)

Donnie began his martial arts training in 1995, at age eight. He obtained his junior Black Belt in 1999, his adult Black Belt (Shodan) in 2001 and was awarded his Second Degree Black Belt (Nidan) in December of 2004. Donnie has also trained in Kobudo, the art of traditional Okinawan weapons, and was awarded his First Degree Black Belt in May 2005.

Currently, he instructs the Friday night youth advanced class, focusing on tournament preparation, and assists in instructing the Tuesday night adult class.

A senior at Alta Loma High School, Donnie has been in the Honors program throughout his high school career, and will graduate in June 2005. In addition to achieving an academic letter, Donnie has also earned a Varsity Letter for his participation with the high school Track team in shot put and discus.
